ارتقا معیارهای نمایه سازی DOAJ و سخت گیری های بیشتر در مورد Peer Review و هیات تحریریه و لیست نمایه ها

جملات ذیل با هدف آموزش به مجلات کشور، بیان کننده تجربیات داوری برخی مجلات در DOAJ می باشد.

First Email:

Based on our investigation, it is our firm opinion that the management of [XXXX] University of Medical Sciences is not monitoring and keeping track of the practices of their journal. We highly recommend that the management invest substantial efforts in improving the journal, especially monitoring the performance of the editorial board. We have therefore decided to reject all applications for all journals of [XXXXX]n University of Medical Sciences and remove all listed journals and all journals from affiliated publishers.

Second Email after claiming by the University:

Addition to the problem raised regarding [XXXX] journal from the publisher [XXXX] University of Medical Sciences, we also find that your Journal [XXXX] doesn’t have adequate peer review process, some editorial board members of your two journals couldn’t be verified, and non-standard impact factors are displayed in both journal websites. Therefore, there is no reason for us to change our decision to exclude your journals for a period of 3 years In this case, we will not accept any new submissions or requests to put your journals back into DOAJ for a period of 3 years.

نتیجه گیری:

معیارهای ذیل برای داوری در DOAJ می بایست به دقت توسط مجلات و ناشر مورد ارزشیابی قرار گیرند:

• monitoring the performance of the editorial board
• monitoring and keeping track of the practices of their journal
• adequate peer review process
• Verify all editorial board members
• Check all data in indexing source and display correct sources
